Truth is, I'm not really so used to decorating much of anything. Even my apartment back home had mostly the furnishings it came with, and I didn't bother to add much. So I was thinking of making it more... personal, if that makes sense? Though it might be counter-productive to ask someone to do it, but I'm just not good at it.

I don't think it's counter-productive at all. To the contrary, I think the best person to help you make something personal is an expert in the field. Someone with experience is going to be most able to take your ideas and concepts and translate them into a space that is effectively you.

He has a satchel slung over his shoulder with a few necessities, but most of what he needs is tucked inside the floating toolbox at his side, its own green eyes bright with the same faux-curiosity they wear whenever he takes it out of his room.
Once he sees the other, he'll head over with a smile and a wave of greeting. ]
