[Eyes open, tendered by the haze of their post-coital bliss, by the words that Kaveh utters so unnecessarily. Alhaitham shakes his head, more to say that he shouldn't be worried about his own being (he's never felt better) and about not being able to realize how he feels to the point that he needs to apologize. He cradles the back of that golden head, holds the Architect close with a hum, as though he's sulking.] You shouldn't be sorry. It took you as long as you had to take.

[And that is fine by him, he doesn't say, but presses a kiss to his forehead.]

[ He grumbles a little, but otherwise says nothing, content to hold and to be held, to relax in the circle of Alhaitham's arms and press lazy kisses into his neck and shoulder. He smells like a sweet mix of cologne and sweat and sex— the same scent Kaveh knows lingers on his own skin. It's a reminder that they'll have to clean up.

Eventually.

"Eventually" is what he keeps telling himself for probably the next thirty minutes, but it does come to pass with time, when he wakes from a doze and realizes that if they don't clean themselves up soon, they'll sleep like this— and cleanup will be much worse in the morning.

He mouths a kiss at Alhaitham's throat. ]

We have to clean up.

[Alhaitham, however, had dozed straight away, and is merely awake from the mouth on his neck, which he arches lazily at, and he wraps his arm tighter around Kaveh with a mumble against his hair.] 'mm sure, in a bit.

[ Kaveh shakes his head, hands coming up to brace on Alhaitham's chest. ]

No— not in a bit.

[ He presses another kiss into the skin, and then nips, hoping to get the other man's attention a little better. ]

If we don't clean up now, we'll fall asleep.

[ Although apparently, Alhaitham already has. ]

[He may as well purr, Alhaitham grumbles something soft, tipping his head back just a little to give Kaveh's teeth more room. His body is still singing from his own climax, so the friction feels delightful.] 'S that so bad?

[ Archons help him. Alhaitham is so cute when he's like this, more asleep than he is awake, mumbling contented words in a voice that sounds more like a purr than actual spoken words. It would be so nice to let him just relax there and sleep longer, but...

[Alhaitham replies with yet another grumble, a gasp, and him snuffling into Kaveh's temple while rubbing his nose to tear those teeth away from his neck. Taunting, teasing teeth that he feels like feeling once again.] 'Fine.

[But Alhaitham is nothing if not disciplined. He'd rather be a bit cold but clean for the rest of the night than warm but filthy for the following morning. He will complain and will bring Kaveh along with him, carefully picking him up and refusing to let go before he sets him down (on the small towel that serves as a rug to avoid the cold on his feet) to turn on the warm water.]

[ For a moment, he's quite proud of himself in managing to convince the other to get out of bed and wash up— and then Alhaitham scoops him up, Kaveh yelping as he's dragged into the other's arms. Of course he protests, squawking something about how "this is completely unnecessary", and for the other man to "put me down!!!!", but his demands are not followed until they make it to the bathroom, and he's placed gently on the floor mat.

...Archons, he loves this man.

While they wait for the water, he reaches out, taking the younger between his arms and rubbing his shoulders, his arms, pressing soft kisses as he does to the underside of Alhaitham's jaw. ]

I know you didn't wanna get up, but I'm glad you did.

Hm? How so? [He's still half-awake, half-drowsy, and fully sated, but the kisses under his jaw only make him melt further into the man, close his eyes as he rests his forehead against Kaveh's shoulder, wrapping his arms around him so he doesn't move or wobble with his weight on him.] Were you planning on pushing me out of the bed?

Would've if I'd had to, [ he responds, but he knows that the other will recognize the emptiness of the threat. He chuckles, and when the younger's head moves to rest against his shoulder, Kaveh's kisses find the top of his hair instead, buried into his scalp as he sighs his content. ]

No, I just... I know how uncomfortable you would've been in the morning if we didn't get up to clean now.

[ He knows Alhaitham after all, just as the other knows him. He would have been miserable upon waking. ]

Hmph. [He doesn't dignify that with a response, because the both of them know that Kaveh is right and Alhaitham is too warm, too comfortable, to move his head to talk even if he nudges it further into the architect's mouth.

And then he walks them both under the shower spray. The water is warm enough.]

[ Kaveh laughs softly, and holds Alhaitham tight as he's drawn into the shower spray, making sure he's steady before he unwinds his arms to straighten up. The other man may be half asleep still, but he has to make sure that they're at least partially clean, so he focuses on that for now, reaching first for the soap and then a washcloth. ]

You can't lean on me for a second, let me clean you up.

[Part of it is Alhaitham doing it on purpose, so when he straightens up and presses kisses over the wet surface of Kaveh's cheek, it's an easy thing. He uses the opportunity to brush Kaveh's hair away from his face, knowing he gets easily annoyed by it when it's too warm and clinging to his face with sweat.] Does that mean I get to clean you?

[ Kaveh smiles sweetly in response to the gentle actions the other takes, stroking the hair away from his face, asking if he gets to clean Kaveh in return. ]

Sure, if you want.

[ The response comes easy, his hand on Alhaitham's face in response as he considers, a gentle kiss to the corner of his lips as he soaps up the washcloth and starts to rub the sweat and semen off the other's skin. ]

I wouldn't have asked if I didn't. [Well, Alhaitham takes the moment to brush more of Kaveh's hair away from his face, watch as it darkens to muted gold instead of vivid as it gets wet, and then the darker ends of it to a shaded tone. He ensures the water goes over Kaveh's back, trailing down, his fingers following to brush at any sweat on his back, and then any spend on the back of his thighs.]

Mm, just making sure. I know you're sleepy.

[ He tries not to let himself get too distracted as he continues to clean the other's chest and stomach first, eyes closing briefly at the feeling of content as those fingers explore him, but also knowing he needs to watch what he's doing to make sure he's doing it right. ]

Feels nice. Is this alright too?

Hmm. More than. [He says, though it's muttered, because of course he's not stopping himself from nuzzling Kaveh further. Of course he's not stopping himself from sucking droplets of water over the skin on the curve of his shoulder.]

Is it alright for you? [He nuzzles still.]

...More than.

[ The words arrive on a barely-there whisper, a soft groan on Kaveh's lips despite an attempt to suppress it, because despite the physical, bone-aching exhaustion of the other having wrenched orgasm after orgasm out of him, the feeling of Alhaitham's lips on his skin is sinfully good. ]

Though I'm... not sure how useful it is in regards to... hm, getting clean again.

[If he can feel a slight gush of a breath over his wet shoulder just before the warmth of Alhaitham's mouth, the Scribe doesn't even make an effort to hide it.

[ With a sigh, he moves to put the washcloth aside, letting his fingers touch instead. Let Alhaitham see how difficult it is just to ignore every sensation! ]

[Alhaitham takes a deep breath. Words have power, they both know that. Kaveh should know that. And while he's very well aware that he may not mean to hold this much of it on his voice, Alhaitham can't help but be a little stirred by it all.]

'To me'? Really? [He doesn't give Kaveh much time to explore his skin because he's trailing kisses along his jaw, cradling him by the chin to drink the water on his lips.] Do you think you can go at it again?

[ Yes, words have power, but Kaveh is also just speaking the truth. And right now, the truth is that, sleepy or not, Alhaitham's kisses and touches are starting to rile him up all over again, as if they were drugged with something that bring him right back to that same space with each and every ministration. ]

[A heavy hand comes to stroke down his spine, as though he wants to be that water, slow but warm even if Alhaitham nuzzles Kaveh's hair aside and presses a soft kiss on the back of his neck, a nip, another nuzzle.] You're gorgeous.
